Hey sorry I haven't blogged again recently. Have made a few cards but they have been for events and I haven't had time to photograph them before having to give them! I have also been practicing colouring with my copics. I am so in love with this side of crafting that it is fast taking over my card making! Anyway I hope to be back soon with some pictures of my creations. Thanks for checking in all you who still have been and I promise to blog again soon ;)

I can't believe I have only just found this challenge blog!!! As you may have noticed from my last few posts I am in love with my copic pens, today I came across this blog Copic colour challenge.

I used my other favorite at the moment my Miss Anya stamps from The greeting farm (just ordered the other set of Miss Anyas can't wait for them to arrive!)

Big sorry as I have been such a awful blogger recently! I haven't done much crafting either.

I'm not completely happy with the way this card turned out, I think it needs a little something else.

I used some of my new stamps from The greeting farm these images are great for colouring with copics, it is fast becoming my new hobby.

This card is for two challenges, the colours are from Kristina's colour inspiration

The other challenge is for Caardvarks where the challenge this week is 'don't quote me' you have to include a quote or verse in your creation.

It worked well with some new craft goodies I have got recently. The wood grain paper is from a new recycled paper pad from DCWV and the cute felt buttons from making memories.

WOW! can you believe that it is colour inspiration no. 50 from Kristina and she has loads of fab goodies up for grabs.

It was a real 'challenge' for me this one! Not only have I just about dragged myself out of a craft slump but I would NEVER use this colours together!

I think this card turned out a little different from what I normally do, but I do like it and I'm so please I am back to crafting I thought I was never going to get inspiration again!

Hi all I am in a real craft slump!! It is so horrid!!
I sit at my craft desk and nothing, I looked at a couple of challenges and just couldn't get inspiration :(
So I thought I post a picture of my lovely pup instead as I haven't posted anything for a while. I do hope to be back with something! later on this week :)
Any tips on what to do when in this situation let me know.

My favorite set has to be the set that is being given away! I have quite a few sets already and love them all but Jelly beans is next on my list!
You have to go and check these stamps out they are all just sooooooooo fab!

The challenge this week over at Cupcake Craft Challenges is a picture go and check it out. It's a really pretty fresh and simple challenge.

The picture made me think of spring time which is on its way at last (yippeee!) Hope you like my little card, using this gorgeous little elephant stamp! He is just relaxing in the garden on a spring day (hence the blanket!)

Just a quick post to say sorry that I haven't posted any thing for the past week. Had a very busy week and got a nasty cold!
Hope to take part in some challenges this week and get some cards up. I went to Make-it (craft show) the biggest in the south at the weekend, it was great and I have some new stamps to show you!!!!

I love these little mitten stamps I have used here, I stamped some of images on patterned paper and some on white and coloured them in.

I had just the stamp for Kristina's colour challenge this week. I love polka dots so I knew I had to do a card for the current challenge over at Caardvarks as the challenge is polka dots! Kept it subtle with dots just in the ribbon :)

Great bold colours, I stamped the image twice (I seem to do a lot of this) and the cut the heart out to give it more of a 3D look.

The card is 3"x3", I love this size it is a great notelet size I think.

What with having the flu and moving I have neglected my part on the design team for cupcake crafts , so big sorry for that and hopefully I'm back with it now ;)

The challenge this week is a sketch. I have this cute new little stamp set from October afternoon, I stamped the monsters onto patterned paper and then cut them out, the teddy bear was stamped, embossed and then cut out and stuck on with dimensionals to make him pop.

Firstly I want to say that I'm not all that happy with the finished result of this card.

I have been ill with the flu (and I mean proper flu,hardly getting out of bed!) for the last week, I blame that on the lack of creative juices! Also I couldn't seem to take a good picture of it!

Cute card Thursday challenge Punches

This is my 100th post!!! WOW

This card is for the challenge this week over at Cute card Thursday

The challenge was to use punches, I don't have that many punches, but I used my scallop edge punch (which I love).

I used my the elephant from 'Wild about you' stamp set from Stampin' up. I think I need to step away from the elephant stamps! I just can't stop using them.

Again I stamped the image with versa mark ink and then used my Stampin' pastels, it's a nice way to get light and dark on your images.

Kwerner colour inspiration #34 (#17 if your me) & This Thursday challenge

I was a little worried when I saw the colours for this weeks colour inspiration over at Kristna's blog, I loved them but I don't really do subtle in my cards!
Then I saw how well it fitted the challenge over at This thursday's , which is naughty or nice! I was really excited. Well you couldn't get much nicer then a cute little baby card could you!?

The colours are pale plum, perfect plum, bordering blue, sage shadow, certainly celery and you could add a neutral colour.
I had such fun with it though, I tried this stamp and pastel technique where you stamp your image in versa mark, then use your Stampin' pastels to colour them in. It gives such a pretty and subtle effect! I know I will be using this technique a lot!

1 card for 2 challenges!

This card is for 2 challenges, firstly for the Snow somthing challenge over at Stamp Something and for the challenge over at Caardvarks

The challenge for Caardvarks was to create a *new* card using no patterned paper. I have to confess this is the first time that I have used my Core'dinations paper as it was purposed! I just liked the texture of it.

I first embossed with my cuttlebug and snowflake embossing folder, and then sanded it. I love this affect I can't believe i haven't done it before!

I stamped the little penguin on whisper white card stock, once in black and then once in orange, then I cut and layered him.

The stamp is from the 'Wild about you ' from Stampin' up (available from me if your in the UK)

Kwerner colour inspiration #32 (#15 if your me) take 2

I wasn't a hundred percent happy with my first attempt at Kristina's challenge so this is my second take on the colour inspiration.

The stamp set I used is Stampin up Nursery Necessities, and spot on jumbo wheel.

I stamped the big star, clear embossed it and cut it on, mounted on the sandy coloured piece of paper and cut it out again. I did the same with the smaller star.

The sentiment I stamped with Versa mark then embossed with white embossing powder.

CCC #15 Sweets and cakes

This weeks challenge over at Cupcake craft challenges, was set by me!

I have just got the most fantastic paper stack from DCWV 'The Sweet matstack' I took my inspiration from this. So the challenge is sweets and cakes, you creation can be anything just has to feature sweets and cakes!

I made one of these treat holders (I'm lovin these as little gifts at the moment), i also made the little charms around the top, they are made out of Fimo after firing them I added glitter and lacquered them. They are something you can keep once you have eaten the sweets.

The paper at the bottom is from the DCWV stack.

Kwerner colour inspiration #31 (#14 if your me)

This weeks colour inspiration colours from Kristina were another great selection of autumn colours. Close to cocoa, elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie, so saffron and whisper white.

I really enjoyed myself, I used the 'wild about you' set from stampin up. I stamped the lion 3 times, twice in close to cocoa and once in pumpkin pie, clear embossed them all then cut and layered them, and of course added googly eyes!

I then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the little bird in elegant eggplant (from the same set) on his back, what a cute pair!

The little orange flower brads are from making memories have had them for a while and really wanted to use them but never found the card, they fitted this one well!

I retook my pictures today in the daylight, bit happier with them now, but as I said what can you do with the English winter!!

Just a quick card today for the colour inspiration over at Kwerners blog I love this little penguin stamp so I stamped him, embossed him and then cut him out (I know black wasn't one of the colours!)

Really pretty autumn/ winter colours. Sorry the colours don't show up well in this picture, it is a miserable day here in the UK, so no outside pictures like I usually do.

I just went with the colours, and made this little pizza box with notelets.

This weeks challenge from Kristina was a bit difficult to start with for me (I don't use orange!) But once I got started I enjoyed myself.

Lots of you who saw my rocky road from yesterday (on the cricut MB mostly) wanted some of it sent to them and this made me think what a great little gift they would make so I made this!

Making rocky road, (the ones I have made here are the veggie version as I haven't sourced any veggie marsh mallows yet). They are super quick to make and so tasty! Another great challenge over at Cup cake craft challenges

It was Jenny's turn this week to set the challenge.

The challenge was 'Theres a hole in my bucket' now your creation doesn't need to have a bucket in it but it does have to have a hole!

This great prize from around the block is up for grabs!

This week with Kristna's challenge we were let lose a little with the choice to use any red or pink colours or even both!

Since I always use pink I thought I would give red a try, also I wanted to use the apple stamp and designer series paper from the tart and tangy set from Stampin Up.

It is a notelet really as its 3 1/2" by 3 1/2".

CCC #9 Turn up the heat

Challenge #9 over at Cupcake craft challenges can you believe it is my 5th card as a design team member! Please pop over and take part this week if you can.

The challenge this week set by Jennifer it was to turn up the heat, either with heat embossing, hot colours etc.

So for my creation I used heat embossing, colours not to mention a hot little penguin!

I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Then I just ran with the idea!

I have wanted to do a spinner card for ages and I just LOVE the strawberry cut from indie art cartridge.The stamp is from SU.

Colour inspiration #25 from Kristina

Loved this colours when I saw them but struggled a little when putting it together! Turn out ok in the end I think. I actually had Stampin up colours this time as my order had arrived!!!

Colours worked out well too for the challenge over at daring carmakers challenge were you had to use brights in your creation

I am so excited I have just placed my first stampin up order from the new UK catalogue!!!!!!!! they have the tart and tangy set! I have wanted this set for such a long time looking at all the great cards people have made with it (they had it in the US catalogue already) I can't wait till it arrives, I will post pictures when it does.

Happy Sunday all.

It is a beautiful sunny autumn day here in the UK today. I really like a proper autumn (Cold but bright).

I was inspired by this pretty season and a colour inspiration from a few weeks ago for this card.

Just made this card because I felt like it.

I got these cute little stamps in a set from Nikoart over at etsy.com.

I used the little coffee cup with one of my favorite techniques (which I haven't used on my last few cards!) clear embossing.

The scallop circle is the only cricut, paper is fro DCWV.
