Lagniappe From Me To You Challenges

This is a new challenge blog, it is only the second challenge.
The challenge was to incorporate animal print somewhere in your designs. Well I NEVER use animal print, but I like the way this turned out ( I know it is only a little bit of animal print).
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Featured in Cricut chrip again!!!!!!!!

I'm sooo excited (silly really I know) this card got featured in the cricut chrip! (BTW for those of you who don't visit the Cricut MB it's their newsletter).

Scrummy stash cafe Samm's sketch challenge

This could be a card or scrap book page (as you can see I don't really scrap). The challenge can be found Here

I haven't stuck as closely to the sketch as I usually do with sketch challenges but I like the way it turned out and hope it is acceptable for the challenge!

Not wishing winter on at all! But I went chilly on this one. The picture doesn't show it up very well but the blue background and the snowflake and letters are in glittery card stock.
(Snowflake is accent essentials and the lettering is from Mickey font)
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Kwerner colour inspiration #19 My take

Well you all know how I love black and pink, so when I saw that you could have a colour of your choice with black, white and grey this week I knew it had to be pink!
Love this little monkey stamp! As always had to use some clear embossing for the background I just love this technique!
Thanks in advance for your comments

Another great colour challenge from Kwerner

The fourth colour this week was a colour of your choice. Great idea.

Arty girlz challenge #48

The challenge this week is to add shapes to your creation. So I added this big juicy apple.
I was inspired by this new stamp set from gel-a -ins! I used one of the stamps for the background (red ink with clear embossing), and one for the tag which is attached under the ribbon with an eyelet.
As always I really appreciate your comments.

Sketch Challenge

This challenge can be found at Kwerner
Poor Kristina has hurt her back and so she hasn't been fit for MACM etc so she asked us what we could do with her sketch.
Ok so I'm on a theme! Pink and Black. But I think it really fitted this challenge.
As the weather was warm (for once) I thought I would take the picture in the garden!
Thanks for your comments.

Monkey slider card (this thursday colour challenge 9)

This is for a colour challenge at This thursday
I finally got down to having a go at slider cards, with this one. I have to say I LOVE them!
The stamp on this one is new from sandylion boys set, the background stamp is the girl collection, with clear embossing. As always scallop circle is from MM.
Hey and please see below my first EVER video of the slider card working!!!!!!!!! Sorry it isn't fantastic quality.
Thanks in advance for all your comments.

Thinking of you card!

Firstly I should explain this is for the dentist I work with, he broke his collar bone palying tennis (he is 64!). He is usually very active so he is very fed up to be off work.
Thank you all for your suggestions on this card, (lots of you on different MB give me ideas).
So this is what I came up with in the end.
The slide part of this card works similarly to a waterfall card.
The skeleton is from PDDU, and the arrow is from accent essentials.
This is what it looks like when you pull it!

As always I enjoy reading your comments.

Card for 2 challenges, Kwerner & thisthursday

This is my take on the challenges. The colour challenge can be found Here, and the ribbon and bow challenge can be found Here

Thought i would combine two challenges in one card!
The colour challenge was hard for me as I never really use the colour orange. I use it so rarely that I hardly had any orange card/ paper to use.
Yet again some clear embossing with my cute new little monkey stamp.
As for the ribbon challenge, I just love ribbon and I think it just finishes this card off!
Hope you like it, and thank you for all your comments.

Papertake Weekly challenge Katharina's sketch #8

This sketch challenge can be found at Papertake Weekly.
I have only just started stamping again recently in the last few months (>6mths) I hated it before I was never happy with the results, but I'm getting back into as you can see (my last few cards have been stamped!).
The scallop boarder is from Accent essentials, and of course the circle and scallop circles are from mini monograms (what would I do without this cart!)
I used clear embossing powder on the monkey's and the friends stamp, and then coloured the monkey's in with my whisper pens.
Thanks for your comments they mean alot.

Daring cardmakers challenge (Sprinkles)

This challenge is for DCM
The first thing I thought of when I saw this challenge to make a card with sprinkles was rain!
Another cut from PDDU this little cow is sooooo cute! The only downside to this cut is to have different colours you have to cut the cow several times!

The rain sprinkles are made with stickles.
As always I love reading all your comments.
