Kwerner colour inspiration #37 (#20 if your me) and stamp something challenge

Love the colours from Kristina's challenge this week.

It also gave me a great opportunity to use my new stamps from My cute stamps, and as there new I could use them from another challenge over at Stamp something the challenge is 'something new'.

I used my stampin' pastels and versa mark ink for the cups then cut them out. Then used my blender pen for the foam and shadow.

A tree for all seasons

This card is for the Stamp something challenge, it was a sketch.

I used this lovely stamp set from Stampin in, a tree for all seasons. I just love these stamps, and the thinking of you 365 days stamp is also stampin up.

Sorry the picture doesn't show the colours up very well, it's dark already (shortest day of the year here in the UK)

Cute card Thursday challenge Punches

This is my 100th post!!! WOW

This card is for the challenge this week over at Cute card Thursday

The challenge was to use punches, I don't have that many punches, but I used my scallop edge punch (which I love).

I used my the elephant from 'Wild about you' stamp set from Stampin' up. I think I need to step away from the elephant stamps! I just can't stop using them.

Again I stamped the image with versa mark ink and then used my Stampin' pastels, it's a nice way to get light and dark on your images.

Kwerner colour inspiration #34 (#17 if your me) & This Thursday challenge

I was a little worried when I saw the colours for this weeks colour inspiration over at Kristna's blog, I loved them but I don't really do subtle in my cards!
Then I saw how well it fitted the challenge over at This thursday's , which is naughty or nice! I was really excited. Well you couldn't get much nicer then a cute little baby card could you!?

The colours are pale plum, perfect plum, bordering blue, sage shadow, certainly celery and you could add a neutral colour.
I had such fun with it though, I tried this stamp and pastel technique where you stamp your image in versa mark, then use your Stampin' pastels to colour them in. It gives such a pretty and subtle effect! I know I will be using this technique a lot!

CCC #17 Sketch

This weeks challenge over at Cup cake craft challenges is a sketch set by Laura.

Stamp is the elephant from Stampin' up set wild about you.

1 card for 2 challenges!

This card is for 2 challenges, firstly for the Snow somthing challenge over at Stamp Something and for the challenge over at Caardvarks

The challenge for Caardvarks was to create a *new* card using no patterned paper. I have to confess this is the first time that I have used my Core'dinations paper as it was purposed! I just liked the texture of it.

I first embossed with my cuttlebug and snowflake embossing folder, and then sanded it. I love this affect I can't believe i haven't done it before!

I stamped the little penguin on whisper white card stock, once in black and then once in orange, then I cut and layered him.

The stamp is from the 'Wild about you ' from Stampin' up (available from me if your in the UK)

I love this weeks colour inspiration from Kristina. The colours are chocolate chip, pumpkin pie, taken with teal, certainly celery and whisper white. Usually I struggle with pumpkin pie but it just seemed to work with this card.

Black friday something

This weeks challenge over at Stamp something was to include black in your creation.

I went very simple with this card using the cute little elephant from the Stampin up set Nursery Necessities.

This weeks challenge over at Scrummy stash cafe is no patterned paper.

To add pattern to this little card I used my Stampin up polka dot background stamp, and some cute little buttons.

Kwerner colour inspiration #32 (#15 if your me) take 2

I wasn't a hundred percent happy with my first attempt at Kristina's challenge so this is my second take on the colour inspiration.

The stamp set I used is Stampin up Nursery Necessities, and spot on jumbo wheel.

I stamped the big star, clear embossed it and cut it on, mounted on the sandy coloured piece of paper and cut it out again. I did the same with the smaller star.

The sentiment I stamped with Versa mark then embossed with white embossing powder.

Kwerner colour inspiration #32 (#15 if your me)

This weeks colour inspiration from Kristina gave me the opportunity to use my new Hello Kitty cartridges which had just arrived!!!! (so excited!)

Used the little love notes from Stampin up as the base card, and the Square Serif stamp set for the Hello, thought it was fitting! ;)

Kwerner colour inspiration #31 (#14 if your me)

This weeks colour inspiration colours from Kristina were another great selection of autumn colours. Close to cocoa, elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie, so saffron and whisper white.

I really enjoyed myself, I used the 'wild about you' set from stampin up. I stamped the lion 3 times, twice in close to cocoa and once in pumpkin pie, clear embossed them all then cut and layered them, and of course added googly eyes!

I then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the little bird in elegant eggplant (from the same set) on his back, what a cute pair!

The little orange flower brads are from making memories have had them for a while and really wanted to use them but never found the card, they fitted this one well!

I retook my pictures today in the daylight, bit happier with them now, but as I said what can you do with the English winter!!

Kwerner colour inspiration #27 (#10 if your me)

This week with Kristna's challenge we were let lose a little with the choice to use any red or pink colours or even both!

Since I always use pink I thought I would give red a try, also I wanted to use the apple stamp and designer series paper from the tart and tangy set from Stampin Up.

It is a notelet really as its 3 1/2" by 3 1/2".

Firstly I want to dedicate this to my lovely brother who lives in Australia, he checks out my blog regularly (hi Matt!).

Strawberries and Cream

The glittery strawberries on this card were inspired by Scottishscrapper on the cricut MB, cute little card.

Then I just ran with the idea!

I have wanted to do a spinner card for ages and I just LOVE the strawberry cut from indie art cartridge.The stamp is from SU.

Stampin Up Goodies arrived!!!

My stampin up goodies arrived last night!

As you can see I went a little mad with the new catalogue coming out!

Loving all the stamp sets etc, looking forward to playing with it all this weekend.

I am so excited I have just placed my first stampin up order from the new UK catalogue!!!!!!!! they have the tart and tangy set! I have wanted this set for such a long time looking at all the great cards people have made with it (they had it in the US catalogue already) I can't wait till it arrives, I will post pictures when it does.
